LIVING WITH KINGDOM MINDSET

Living with a kingdom mindset means having a perspective and a lifestyle that reflect the values and purposes of God’s kingdom. It means seeking first God’s kingdom and his righteousness, and trusting him to provide for our needs (Matthew 6:33). It means submitting to God’s authority and will in every area of our lives, and following the example and teachings of Jesus Christ, our King and Lord. It means being a citizen of heaven, while living as a faithful witness and ambassador of God’s kingdom on earth (Philippians 3:20; 2 Corinthians 5:20).

Some of the benefits of living with a kingdom mindset are:

Peace: We can experience God’s peace that surpasses all understanding, as we trust him to rule and reign over our circumstances, and guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Joy: We can rejoice in the Lord always, knowing that he is with us, for us, and in us, and that nothing can separate us from his love or his kingdom (Philippians 4:4; Romans 8:38-39).

Purpose: We can discover and fulfill God’s purpose for our lives, as we use our gifts, talents, and resources to serve him and advance his kingdom in the world (Ephesians 2:10; Matthew 25:14-30).

Hope: We can have a confident hope and expectation of God’s promises, as we look forward to the day when he will fully establish his kingdom on earth, and wipe away every tear, pain, and sorrow (Hebrews 6:19; Revelation 21:1-5).

What must I do to join the Kingdom of God?

5. BAPTISM (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38, 10:48; 1 Peter 3:21)
