Music has a positive or negative impact on you based on the type of music you listen to. Music is a communication with the soul so it has an effect on our emotions. These are the inspiration gospel music I cherish most.
1. Mercy Me-Even If ♫
This song is a call for us to be steadfast no matter the situation we find ourselves in, just like that of Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego. They stood firm in their faith and were thrown into the blazing furnace.In the end their test became a testimony.Even If is a declaration to God that in His silence during trials, He’s still worthy to be worshipped and praised. (See 1 Thes 5:18)
2. Michael W. Smith-Raging sea ♫
This music reminds us that no matter the trouble that comes on our way God will set us free. Jesus calmed the sea (Mattew 8:24-27) and He is the same yesterday, today and forevermore (Heb 13:8). Trust in Him to set you free from your bondage.
3. Frank Edwards-Beautiful ♫
Most people have low self-esteem because others look down on them. The Psalmist wrote that ‘I am fearfully and wonderfully made’. (Psalm 139:14).The part of the music I like is ‘All over the world, no one looks like you’. Out of about one billion sperms,only you survived to be a child.This is an indication that you are one of a kind.
4. Chris Tomblin-whom shall I fear ♫
Are you facing insecurities? Is something or someone threatening you? If you answer is yes to any of these questions then I recommend this music for you. God of angel armies is on your side so don’t be afraid (see Psalm 27). He will rescue you from all your your troubles and challenges.
5. Sinach-No Failure with God ♫
One Bible verse that i cherish is ‘‘God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfil it? (Numbers 23:19RSV)’’. This music calls for faith in the Lord who never fails. Trust in the Lord always. There is no single person in history that God has let him down when he trusted Him.
6. Nicole C. Mullen-My redeemer lives ♫
This music remembers us of that our God is with us in every situation. God is not dead, He lives in us. Never think you are alone. Because He lives, you can face tomorrow.
7. Don Moen-Jehovah Jirah ♫
What are your needs? The word of God from Php 4:19 says‘ ‘and my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (RSV)’’. Jehovah Jirah means my Lord will provide. If He provided for Abraham (see Gen 22:14) then he will surely provide for you.
8. Mali Music-Conqueror ♫
The believer must know he is an overcomer. No setback, tribulation, or temptation can destroy you. The Apostle Paul wrote in one of his epistles that….”we are more than conquerors through him who loved us” (Romans 8:37). ”Christ in you is the hope of glory”
9. Britt Nicole-Walk on the water ♫
One great person wrote that ‘if one person has been able to do it then with God on my side I can do it’’. Yes, you can, so step forward. Don’t be like Peter who lost focus (see Mattew 14:28-32). This music inspires us to face life challenges with courage.Yes, you can walk on water too.
10. Kirk Franklin-Let it go ♫
I agree with the Apostle Paul when H wrote that ‘‘Brethren, I do not consider that I have made it my own; but one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, (Philippians 3:13 RSV)’’. Kirk composed this wonderful song for those of us living in our past.Forget your past and let it go,better days are ahead of you.
Never sit there idle when you are down or facing challenges. The inspirational gospel will help you to focus and to continue to trust in the Lord always. Music is good for the soul. My dear in Christ listens to music with a positive message to renew your mind daily.
