Basic Scripture: “So, then, be careful how you live. Do not be unwise but wise, making the best use of your time because the times are evil. (Ephesians 5:15-17, NIV)
Rick Warren has a meaningful quote, “Time is your most precious gift, because you only have a set amount of it.”
Do you spend too much on leisure and entertainment? or do you spend your time on God and leaving a legacy behind? What you dedicate your time to will determine the life you live.
Some elderly people wish they could go back to their youthful age to fix some mistakes, however, we have only one chance to be young. It is hard to escape the ruins or complication created by patterns of our youth.
Remembering God while young will help you to fight against the temptations of youth and thereby consequences that can last a lifetime. Just as a plant cannot survive without land, likewise a man cannot live without his creator.Put God first and central in your life. Read His word and abide by them.
Also, Nurture and build relationships, no man is an island. It better to spend time supporting your siblings or children than hanging out with friends for fun. In addition, work diligently to provide for yourself, family and community. Do not waste your time so that you look back with regret.
Food For Thought: Your time is your life, be extremely mindful of the way you spend it.
