Basic Scripture:
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. (Mattew 6:33)

Message:

In an age when people are worried about rising inflation, rising mortgage rates and rising utility bills leading to high standard of living. The Holy Scriptures reminds us to seek first the Kingdom of God and the Lord will take care of the rest.

The word ‘seek’ in the original language means search for, desire, require, demand. As such, the Kingdom must be pursued, sought and investigated. It’s a call to learn how to live a kingdom lifestyle on earth.

Every kingdom is ruled by a king who governs his people with laws and decrees.

Jesus reigns over God’s kingdom. Unlike earthly kingdoms that expire, God’s own is eternal.

To live righteously literally means to keep the divine law. The Bible is a handbook of instruction for man on earth. Following the biblical instructions will help us live in accord with the values of the Kingdom.

Seeking the kingdom of God and his righteousness is a call to pursue and submit to the reign and rule of the Almighty God. As we fulfil this, God will faithfully to supply our basic needs.

Food For Thought:

The principle in attaining God’s provision is to diligently pursue the kingdom’s agenda.
